Custom furniture items have extended production times of 2-6 weeks before shipping. Once manufactured, standard shipping timeframes apply. You will receive updates throughout the production and shipping process.

Exceptions & Delays

Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and not guarantees. Delays may occur due to:

  • Curbside Delivery: The carrier delivers the item to the curb or end of your driveway. You are responsible for moving the item into your home. This is the most economical freight option.
  • Threshold Delivery: The carrier brings the item to the first entrance of your home (front door or garage). You are responsible for moving it to the final location inside your home.
  • White Glove Delivery: The carrier brings the item into your home, places it in the room of your choice, unpacks it, and may offer assembly services (if selected at checkout). Debris and packaging materials are removed.

Scheduling Your Freight Delivery

Freight carriers typically require scheduled delivery appointments:

  1. The carrier will contact you via phone or email 24-48 hours before delivery to schedule an appointment
  2. You will be given a delivery window (typically 4-8 hours)
  3. Someone 18 years or older must be present to receive and inspect the delivery
  4. If you miss your scheduled appointment, rescheduling fees may apply

Customer Responsibilities

  • Carriers are not responsible for damage to walls, doorways, or flooring during delivery
  • Carriers cannot wait for you to inspect the item for extended periods

Important: Carefully inspect all freight shipments for damage before signing the delivery receipt. Once you sign, you accept the condition of the item. Concealed damage must be reported within 48 hours with photographic evidence.

8. Damaged or Lost Items

While we take every precaution to package your furniture securely, damage can occasionally occur during shipping. Here's how to handle damaged or lost shipments:

Inspecting Your Delivery

If you are located outside the United States and wish to purchase from Black Bed Set, you may use a package forwarding service at your own risk. Please note that:
